You know a dd.exe for Unix (Linux) or Windows Systems?

Look what i say for with dd.exe.

For Example, looking: GnuWin32 (Sourceforge)
Win32 Binutils
Cygwin

Ich müsste von PArtition c: und d: ein backup erstellen, und diese dann wieder von DVD herstellen können. Wie mach ich das unter DD.exe?
I would of C: partition to create a backup, and then again this can produce a DVD: and d. How do I do it under dd.exe?

dd if=\\.\C: bs=1m | bzip -9 > e:\C.img.bz2
dd if=\\.\D: bs=1m | bzip -9 > e:\D.img.bz2

und die dann auf DVD brennen

Wiederherstellung:
bzip2 -d C.img.bz2 | dd of=\\.\C:

Unter Linux genauso, nur halt mit /dev/hda0 und dergleichen. Geht alles theoretisch direkt im laufenden System, aber für die Wiederherstellung würde doch eher den Boot von einer Live-CD oder Diskette empfehlen.

In Linux as well, just stop with / dev/hda0 and the like. If everything goes right in theory, the current system, but for the recovery but would rather recommend the boot from a live CD or floppy disk.
